- Meta/Facebook pixel
- Heatmaps (Microsoft Clarity / Hotjar)
- Chat widgets or social proof tools

Components (drag-and-drop pieces)

- Countdown timers (fixed or evergreen), progress bars
- Social share elements
- Embeds using “Your Code” (HTML)

Step 4: Popups
Kartra includes:
- Landing popups (show on load or after a delay)
- Exit intent popups (desktop only, triggered when someone tries to leave)
Pop-ups can increase sign-ups.
They can also backfire if you forget to customize them.
Templates are the danger zone here. If the pop-up is still using placeholder text, you’ll find out at the worst time: when you test the live page.
So yes—always check popups before you publish.
Step 5: Small Design Tweaks That Make You Look “Expensive”
You don’t need fancy design skills. You need a few smart moves:
Background image opacity + blur
This can:
- Make text easier to read
- Feel more professional
- Reduce visual noise
Image alignment + margins
Images often default to the left. Centering and spacing look cleaner—especially on mobile.

Step 6: Mobile Optimization
Here’s the tricky part: edits in mobile view usually affect desktop too.
If you want a different layout per device, the simplest method is:
- Duplicate the section
- Show one version on the desktop
- Show the other on mobile/tablet
This is especially helpful for alternating image/text layouts. They look great on desktop… and weird on mobile.

Your goal is readable, scrollable, and clear.
Step 7: Save Progress vs Publish Live
Kartra gives you:
- Save Progress (use while you’re working)
- Publish Live (updates the real page)
Pro tip: don’t trust autosave with your sanity.
Use:
- Save Progress often
- Publish Live before you step away (yes, even for coffee)
Then open the live link and test what real humans will see.

After you publish, update:
- Your URL slug (the part after the slash)
- Your custom domain (if connected)
This helps you look polished when sharing links in:
- Emails
- DMs

- Rename pages
- Assign categories (funnels, campaigns, page type)
